Elevating a luxury furniture brand

Role: Lead Designer & Developer (WordPress)

Outcome: Created a performant, digital catalog that matches the high-end craftsmanship of the physical products.

The Problem

A global luxury brand with a disconnected digital presence. Louis Kazan creates exceptional handcrafted wood furniture, but their digital footprint didn't reflect the artistry or exclusivity of their products.

The Friction: Users couldn't easily browse the full catalog or understand the detailed craftsmanship online.

The Risk: A subpar digital experience risked devaluing the perceived quality of the brand in a competitive luxury market.

The Reality: The site needed to function as a high-end showroom, not just a static brochure.

The Strategy

Digital craftsmanship. I treated the website build with the same attention to detail as the furniture itself—focusing on lines, negative space, and material quality (images).

Progressive Performance: Implemented progressive image rendering to ensure high-resolution product shots loaded instantly without lagging.

Accessibility as Luxury: Used thoughtful motion design and keyboard navigation to create a smooth, premium feel for all users.

Visual Hierarchy: Placed the product geometry front-and-center, using a minimalist interface that fades away to let the furniture speak.
