What to expect when commissioning me

The process, demystified

Inquiry & Intake: Client submits the intake form.

Quote, Contract, & Deposit: Artist provides a quote and contract (covering scope, usage rights, and file format). Client signs and pays the non-refundable 50% deposit.

Phase 1: Concept & Thumbnails: Artist provides 2-3 rough compositional sketches/thumbnails. Client chooses one.

Phase 2: Detailed Line Art/Color Block: Artist develops the chosen thumbnail into detailed line work and a basic color block study (the "color key"). One major revision on composition/color is included.

Phase 3: Final Polish & Render: Artist completes the final, high-detail rendering and polish. Minor revisions (e.g., lighting tweaks, small detail fixes) are allowed.

Final Approval & Delivery: Client approves the watermarked final image. The final 50% payment is received. The artist delivers the high-resolution, unwatermarked files according to the agreed-upon deliverables (e.g., JPEG, PNG, source files, etc).
